Australia to buy up to 220 Tomahawk missiles from the US

Australia plans to buy up to 220 Tomahawk cruise missiles from the United States in order to modernize its fleet and deter China. The missiles will be deployed from the Virginia-class submarines Australia will be buying under the so-called AUKUS deal. The prime contractor will be Arizona-based Raytheon Missiles and Defense.
